Welcome to my gallery.

I am an emerging painter and my works are art brut. I currently live in Switzerland near Geneva in the family home where I grew up. I am half Taiwanese and have lived for several years in Beijing, China and Taipei, Taiwan. It was while living in Asia that I began to paint seriously to express this cultural duality that I live every day.

I discovered that I was not 50% Taiwanese and 50% Swiss, but 100% Taiwanese and 100% Swiss. This thinking has changed a lot of things in my life and it is very important for me to be able to share my legacy and maybe help or inspire other people in situations similar to mine.

My paintings are inspired by the duality and paradoxes that people can feel. As if there were two selves that both exist. These girls represent how I see myself and how I think the world sees me. We then notice that the way we think we are perceived is not always how those around us see us.
So it’s about accepting these weird dualities, and finally realizing that nothing is weird. Everything is simply there.

I paint on cotton canvas or on paper, with acrylic paint, and mainly with the three primary colors, blue, red and yellow.

Thank you very much for your interest,
